Morning Glory
- Collection: Classic Range
- Type: Overdrive
- Highly transparent overdrive — adds grit without colouring your core tone
- Gain sweeps from completely clean to rock and roll
- Side-mounted bright-cut switch to tame high end on brighter rigs
- LED changes colour to indicate boost circuit status
OVERDRIVE
The Morning Glory is undoubtedly our most well-known overdrive pedal, winning more awards and receiving more accolades than any of our other designs. We worked hard to make it one of the most transparent overdrives out there. When you want to add some mid- to low-level grit to your crystal-clean tone, use the Morning Glory. When you want to boost a crunchy tone into thicker sustain, use the Morning Glory. When you need to add tube-like touch response to a less-than-ideal amp, use the Morning Glory. When you need to switch between two gain levels on the fly...Yeah, you get the idea.
TRULY TRANSPARENT TONE
The best way to explain the Morning Glory is that it delivers all the tonal and responsive nuance that your amp is missing, and nothing that your tone already has. It's difficult describing a pedal that can be set to have little effect on your tone, so just plug into our Morning Glory overdrive for yourself, and then you'll understand.
- Gain control sweeps from completely clean to rock'n'roll
- Tame high end on brighter rigs with the side-mounted bright-cut switch
- Increased headroom and output for use as a full-frequency boost
ON-THE-FLY VERSATILITY
An update for the Morning Glory V4 is moving the original's front-mounted bright-cut switch to the side of the pedal and replacing it with a powerful boost circuit. And by pairing your Morning Glory V4 with the JHS Red Remote (sold separately), you're able to access the boost mid-song. It's like having two Morning Glorys in one pedalboard-friendly package.
- Switch to a more powerful sound with enhanced low end and grit
- Plug in your JHS Red Remote to switch between the two voices with a tap of your toe
- Handy LED changes from blue to red, indicating the status of the boost circuit

Blending with the tone of the guitar and amplifier, this pedal has rich harmonics and complex but smooth clipping. The Lightspeed Overdrive is sensitive to pick attack and has a different "feel" than other overdrives. The Lightspeed can be set to be "transparent," but can also drive your signal to the edge.

- Includes a bonus treble booster circuit
- Full external control via expression, MIDI, and CV
- All settings are preset saveable
Made in collaboration with Analog Man himself, Brothers AM is a tribute to the legendary King of Tone overdrive.
It takes that coveted circuit, gives you advanced control, and tosses in a couple exciting bonuses – but it doesn't mess with what made it so good in the first place.
A stack of sunny saturation that always manages to sound just right.
Analog Man's level of hand-made care has been unmatched and unchanged since the 90's. There's no replicating it – each King of Tone is made entirely by hand with near-unobtainable parts.
So instead of trying to clone it, Brothers AM goes further. We worked closely with Analog Man to create an expanded counterpart that lets you enjoy the coveted circuit in a new way.

OCD V1.7
- Collection: Classic Range
- Type: Overdrive
- Open-sounding overdrive/distortion with significant dynamic range
- Drive knob delivers approximately 20dB of gain
- HP/LP toggle: HP for British mid-boost character, LP for transparent clean boost
- Tone knob affects high frequencies only, neutral at 12 o'clock
- Adds complex overtones without altering the fundamental guitar and amp tone
The Fulltone OCD is characterized as an open-sounding overdrive/distortion with significant dynamic range, offering more distortion variation based on playing intensity compared to traditional, more compressed, diode-clipped pedals. It aims to add complex overtones without altering the fundamental tone of the guitar and amplifier.
Drive Knob: Features approximately 20dB of gain, with high-peak mode providing more, often necessitating a lower volume setting (around 9 o'clock) for unity gain.
HP/LP Switch:
HP (High Peak): Increases gain and volume with a slight midrange boost (1-2 kHz) for a British amp-style character.
LP (Low Peak): Provides high accuracy to the original instrument and amp signal with minimal coloration, suitable for clean boosting or Tweed/Blackface tones.
Tone Knob: Affects only high frequencies, with 12 o'clock acting as a neutral point.
Pedal Library notes:
I borrowed one of these from a mate as it was a pedal I was wanted to try (but a pedal library didn't exist!). I was blown way by it. Such a lovely overdrive and I could truely hear my original tone clearly - yes im calling it transparent. So of course I had to buy one.
If you were setting up a board and wanted just one pedal to cover your overdrive tones this could easily be it. Paired with a Friedman Pedal for high gain and your set. Oh, and something for solo boosts and of course something for a bit of delay and....

Sick As
- Collection: Classic Range
- Type: Overdrive
- Klon Centaur-inspired circuit with major modern improvements
- Gain control blends clean and driven signal simultaneously for musical results
- Powerful two-band active EQ with up to 15dB of boost or cut
- Toggle switch controls headroom and drive character
- Internally boosted to 18V for maximum clarity and headroom
- Soft touch true-bypass switching
PL Notes:
I first got one of these after seeing it on a That Pedal Show episode in 2018 where they were comparing Klon style pedals against Micks real Klon Centaur. I thought the Sick As sounded identical. But so did the Manticore (by ProAnalog Devices). So, of course I had to buy both to try them properly even if I was only going to keep one ;) Its this sort of behaviour that made me think we need a Pedal Library. The Sick As pedal can certainly mimic a Klon but its capable of much more, so much so that you could easily have two of them on your board doing completely different things. Ops, did I just suggest buying two of the same pedal?! Hahahaha
The Sick As Overdrive is a diversion from the well-worn path, taking its basic structure from the Klon Centaur® but with some major improvements for the modern player. The gain control serves a dual purpose— as the gain is increased, the ratio of gain-to-clean tone increases as well. This ensures that when the gain is rolled off, the tone never becomes muddy and unpleasant. You can control the amount of headroom and the character of the drive with the toggle switch. Choose from a more compressed, mid-range focused tone or an open, transparent, rhythm tone. The tone circuit is a powerful, two-band active EQ circuit capable of boosting or cutting the bass and treble frequencies up to 15dB for maximum versatility. The voltage is also boosted internally to 18V for increased clarity and headroom.
- Clean Boost, Overdrive or a blend of the two.
- Dynamic and natural, responsive to your pick attack or volume knob.
- Internally boosted to 18 volts for maximum headroom and clarity.
- Toggle switch controls the amount of headroom and character of the drive.
- Powerful active tonestack, capable of 15dB of boost or cut
- Soft touch true-bypass switching

Small Box
- Collection: Classic Range
- Type: Distortion
- "Amp in a box" pedal based on Dave Friedman's acclaimed Small Box tube amplifier
- Covers vintage Plexi goodness through to high-gain modern rock tones
- Side-mounted gain switch simulates the Plexi-Channel of the Small Box amp
- Touch-responsive with harmonically rich overdrive
PL Notes:
If you're looking for that "amp in a box" pedal this is it. In fact, all of the Friedman pedals I have tried (BE-OD1, Dirty Shirley and Small Box) they can all turn a clean amp into a high gain monster. With plenty of controls to shape the tone these are great for classic rock to high gain sounds.
Dave Friedman's Small Box all-tube amplifier is well known for being one of the most flexible and touch-responsive amplifiers on the market today. You can now get the same tonal versatility, sensitivity and harmonically rich overdrive as this legendary amp with Friedman's new Small Box overdrive pedal. The Small Box pedal packs the same intuitive control set as the amplifier, allowing you to dial in your perfect shade of rock, from vintage Plexi goodness to high gain madness. Whether you want a high-output cleaner tone for pushing your amp hard, or a thick gritty drive that will sit well in any classic to modern rock band, a sweep of the gain control easily gets you there. If you want to reign in the gain some more, simply flip the side mounted gain switch and it will simulate the Plexi-Channel of the Small Box amplifier. To experience the Small Box's accolade-garnering Friedman tone, put this overdrive pedal on your board today.

- Independent Drive, Volume, and Tone controls for each channel
- Fat, Stock, and Glass toggle settings for tonal variation
- Channels can be used independently or combined for a vast sonic palette
- More drive and volume on tap than either original pedal
PL Notes:
If you could only take one drive pedal to a gig I think this one would have you well covered with the exception of a really high-gain tone. Jesse Davey (Kingtone) has added more drive and volume than you would get from either of the pedals this was based on. With the additional toggle switches you can really tune it into your rig. Great pedal.

Klon KTR
- Collection: Boutique Range
- Type: Overdrive
- The revised production version of the legendary Klon Centaur
- Three controls: Gain, Treble, and Output (GTO)
- Clean boost mode at minimum Gain — enormous headroom, zero distortion
- Toggle switch for buffered or true-bypass output when effect is off
PL Notes:
Is this thing really that good? Surely it's overhyped? Only one way to find out and that's not spending a few minute playing it on a guitar and amp that are not your own. YOU NEED TO BORROW THIS! When I got this for the library and played it I immediately thought "oh man, this is going on my board".
INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE REVISED KLON OVERDRIVE
Controls: Left-to-right, the controls are Gain, Treble and Output. The Gain setting determines how much or how little distortion the unit is generating on its own Treble and Output are self-explanatory. For aesthetic reasons it made no sense to include the control designations as part of the screen printing on the unit,* but here is a useful mnemonic device: GTO.
Treble setting: Don't reflexively leave your Treble setting at noon, us a lot of players seem to do with the tone controls on their pedals. The Treble control is capable of providing subtle gradations in high-frequency response, and is usable and natural sounding throughout its entire range; trust your ears, and use the control.
Output setting: To use the unit as a true overdive - hitting whatever follows it in your signal path harder than your straight through signal would - your Output setting will most certainly need to be above above 10:00. Different amps and pedals have different input stage headroom characteristics, so take some time to experiment with the Output to find whatever setting gives you the best results with your particular rig; often settings in the 11:00 - 1:00 range work well.

King Of Tone
- Collection: Boutique Range
- Type: Overdrive
- Dual overdrive circuit in one box — two independent channels with shared controls
- Boost, Overdrive & Distortion (high gain version)
- Preserves the tone of your guitar and amp while adding warm, natural overdrive
- Works beautifully with any guitar type (single coils, humbuckers, P90s) and any amp
- Not a high-gain pedal — excels at tightening dirty amps and adding touch-sensitive drive
- Entirely handmade by Analog Man with near-unobtainable parts
PL Notes:
I have been using one of these since 2014 and I think Ive used it with every band I've played with which covers quite a few styles. One of things I love about the KOT is that it seems to work really well with any guitar or amp. Clean amp, dirty amp, single coils, humbuckers and P90's all sound great. It sits really well in a band setting but it doesn't change your tone as much as other pedals (eg Tubescreamer). It doesn't do high-gain but if your amp is already dirty it does a great job of tightening up the sound and adding extra gain.
Analog Man, in collaboration with Jim Weider, have come out with the pedal we have been looking for for many years - the King Of Tone (KoT). There are many overdrive pedals on the market, but none of them have been quite right, preserving the tone of the guitar and adding the right amount of overdrive without compromise. There are some good clean boosts available, but they just don't have enough drive to really give your amp the distortion you often want. There are some newer OD pedals that have a great frequency response, but to me they sound too DRY, a bit sterile and cardboardy. There are also some nice sounding pedals available but their sound is too "saturated", losing the touch and feel of your guitar. That is where the King Of Tone pedal comes in - it has enough warm overdrive but still preserves the tones of your quality guitars and amps. If you are looking for a big change in your sound, or a lot of distortion, this is probably not the pedal for you.
