TERMS OF SERVICE
Last updated: April 2026
1. About The Pedal Library The Pedal Library is a guitar pedal subscription service that allows members to borrow pedals from our curated collection on a monthly or 6-month basis. By subscribing, you agree to these Terms of Service.
2. Subscriptions Subscriptions are available on a monthly or 6-month basis. Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time. 6-month subscriptions may be cancelled after the initial 6-month term has been completed. Subscription fees are charged at the start of each billing period and are non-refundable once a pedal has been dispatched.
3. Borrowing Pedals Members may borrow one or more pedals at a time depending on their subscription tier. Pedals remain the property of The Pedal Library at all times. You are responsible for the safe keeping of any pedal in your possession.
4. Swaps You may request a swap at any time. Your current pedal must be returned before or at the time of your next pedal being dispatched. A prepaid return label is included with every delivery for this purpose.
5. Equipment Loss & Damage
Lost or Unreturned Pedals If a pedal is not returned within 7 days after the end of your membership or a failed subscription payment, it will be considered lost. You will be charged the full market replacement value of the pedal, which reflects the current retail price of that unit or used market price for discontinued and vintage pedals. We will notify you before any charge is applied.
Damaged Pedals The Pedal Library understands that pedals are made to be played. Minor cosmetic wear consistent with normal use — such as light surface scratches — is accepted at our discretion and may not incur a charge.
Damage beyond fair wear and tear — including but not limited to cracked housings, broken knobs, faulty switches, water damage, or internal damage — will be assessed upon return. The full cost of repair or replacement will be passed on to the borrower. We will provide an itemised assessment before any charge is processed.
6. Shipping Shipping costs are the responsibility of the member and are charged at the time of each pedal request. A prepaid return label is included in every delivery. The Pedal Library is not responsible for delays caused by Australia Post or circumstances outside our control.
7. Liability The Pedal Library's liability is limited to the value of the subscription fee paid in the current billing period. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of borrowed equipment.
8. Changes to These Terms We may update these terms from time to time. Members will be notified of material changes by email with at least 14 days notice.
